Things To Do With Your Old Lo-Res Images

Turn them into paintings!

My first digital camera was a 1.2(whoa!)mp Olympus that I took on one of my trips to Hawaii. I woke up every morning at 4 am and waited for the sun to rise and shot it every single day. My memories of it are better than the shots!
Ooh, but there's all kinds of lemonade to be made from lemons -- push around those mini"not so mega"pixels, toss in a sailboat and voilá -- some fun!

and i whole heartedly agree, sometimes, going back to old stuff, with a deeper artistic "knowledge" and better tools can yield interesting and much better work of arts :)

Most of the time not worth it, and sometimes even cringe worthy seeing our old work, lol. But sometimes there are hidden gems to rekindle with and redo.

  39. Absolutely gorgeous, Robin! It's the photographer and his eye that make the perfect photo, not the latest and greatest equipment. I am not at all a photographer and my pictures show that, but my son is and he works all over, but mainly in the Houston, Texas area. Where are you?

  69. I have been throughout the south pacific and live at the coast in Newport Beach and I do not believe I have seen anything as beautiful as this.  If I painted it, people would say it is fake, no sunset or sunrise looks like this.  Absolutely beautiful.Good job!
